Isabelle Bonhoure
Researcher in social citizen science
She is a researcher and coordinator of the OpenSystems group at the University of Barcelona (UB), which she joined in 2013, after a PhD in Materials Science and research experience in multiple fields, including public health and environmental studies in the global south. He participated in more than a dozen local, national and European citizen science projects, focusing on introducing citizen science in schools, experimentation in public spaces and in collaboration with GLAMs (galleries, libraries, archives and museums) and co-creation of research with vulnerable groups.
Lately, she has been working on social citizen science projects focused on the field of health, through the study of social support networks in mental health. She is also working in the field of sustainable urban development, in collaboration with architecture departments from different European universities.
